Ok, so this blog got stale, sorry. I was away on vacation with limited internet access and limited time. Then full-swing back into Outdoor Education at camp when I got home. Yep, home. IAWAH is home and I only have a few boxes left at my Mom's house, which means that I am now living in mainly one place, instead of three (I still had boxes of stuff in Tbay)!
I am happy to be located in one place although my little room is looking very full.
As I missed the first two full weeks of hosting schools for Outdoor Education, I feel like spring has only really started. The fact is that in 3 weeks, we will be finished with spring and welcoming summer staff for training, YIKES! Oh, where does the time go. I don't feel ready for summer, as I am still only starting spring, in my head. It will be great, but it might take me a few weeks to feel like summer is upon me.
While on vacation in May, I went to Tbay, Winnipeg and Brandon to see family and friends and to move my stuff from Tbay to either my Mom's house or here. It was great to see everyone. We pulled off a great surprise party for my parent's 40th anniversary and spent the weekend with family. It was nice to have the sisters together for part of it too. I am still a little shocked that my parents didn't know anything about the party. Usually my Mom catches on, however, email and cell phones made it a worthy surprise. Mom almost fell over and they both just walked in to the church without a clue! Brilliant!
