My little sweets!

These are my sister's darlings and I miss them terribly!  Al says she thinks Sophie looks like me and Luc is wearing the overalls I bought for him!  I am that far off Auntie who comes with presents every time I visit!

New Niece

Saturday brought us a new member of our family, my niece Sophie Grace.  We are blessed to finally meet her.  She was anxious to meet us too!  She couldn't wait and was born in an ambulance in front of my sister's house!  They are all doing well and I got to see them later that day, over FaceTime.  Sometimes I really love technology!

A green Christmas??

We barely have a skiff of flakes, so Christmas might be green this year in Westport.  My family (sans me) got together last weekend in Manitoba and celebrated together and the following two pictures are the only ones my father took (this almost never happens, he usually gets everyone to pose for a group shot at least)!  I won't complain too much as the pictures are of my cutie pie nephew!

Pam knit this toque for Luc

Luc has a couple of shirts/sweaters that make him look like a little old man....just like Pops!

As Mom, Pam and I all knit, Luc will probably be outfitted in hand knits most of his life!

I'm an Aunt!

This week marks a milestone in my family's life.  Luc Avery was born!  He is the first child to my sister Alison and her husband Ray, first grandchild to my parents and the sisters are first time Aunties!

He is beautiful and I am excited to go home in August to see him and spend some time with my family.

Too Many Cookies?? Just kidding!

Thought some of you might like to see my beautiful sister as she prepares to become a Mom!  They have nicknamed the little one Jelly Bean and I figure they should use those initials, as we all have started calling them Jelly Bean as well!

33 weeks!  Not many to go!

Ah Christmas....this is what happens when we gather!

I went home for Christmas and the whole family gathered in Winnipeg and celebrated Christmas with wonderful friends and creme de menthe squares!

Thank you Pam and Terry for hosting us and sharing the holiday with us!

Dad is usually the photographer (the above picture included) and doesn't end up in many of the pictures, so I took one of him, after a horrible attempt at a self-portrait.

When the sisters get together, you just never know what will happen and it usually ends up with us laughing until we cry!  This visit was no exception and it was great to laugh it up with the fam.

I wanted an updated picture of the sisters together, which ended in the following pictures.

Alison always says something funny and we lose it!

Once we start, we just can't stop!  It's so good for the abs!

We finally calmed down but were still giggling!

Good thing the father is patient...we just take longer to do things than other people!

I love you guys, thanks!
