Weekend with the Brother and Sister

This weekend Alison and Ray came to visit. They had decided to vacation in Montreal and then visit me and the area. We spent too much time eating, this always happens with my family and some time walking around, but mostly just enjoying spending time together. I usually only see them when I go to Winnipeg, so it was a nice change to have them come here.

We went to Kingston (rode the ferry to Wolfe Island), spent some time walking through mazes at Saunders' Farm (www.saundersfarm.com) and visited the cats on Parlaiment Hill. We toured the Parlaiment Building and went up the Peace Tower too, but the cats are an interesting addition to the tour. We also went to an NHL exhibition game, Senators vs. Canadiens.......it was good but cold. Al and I also spent most of the second period in line at Time Horton's, as we were cold and wanted a hot bevie (we began the endeavour during the intermission, only ending well in to the second period).
